This site is an on-line collection of toys. We connect to the Internet via cable modem, and some of the areas on this site have a relatively large amount of graphic files if you are connecting at a slower speeds. We hope you find it worth the wait!

ABOUT THE COLLECTION

Stingray's Hideaway is our family's private toy collection. We are sharing both toys we used as children, and the wonderful items we have collected over the years. A few of the "classic toys" are still available today, but most of the toys shown are no longer being produced.

The items shown in the collection are not for sale. If you are looking to purchase toys to add to your collection, I would suggest searching for them on eBay. I've had the best luck finding pieces to fill my collection there. Click on the link to eBay in our EXHIBITS index!

While we are showing a variety of toys in each exhibit, we are not trying to picture or collect every single toy ever made in that category. Rather, we are trying to put together a collection of toys which we feel is a good representation of what was available. In some cases we do try to offer a list of all sets available (if no other sites already offer a listing), but this is just for informational purposes, and not what we are striving to collect or exhibit.

As you browse through our collections, be on the look out for preschool action figures! Fisher Prices Play Family and Little People, Little Tikes Toddle Tots, Playskool Playfriends, Tupper Toys Li'l Tuppers, Habro Weebles, and Lego Duplo Figures fit nicely into this category.
